Time-traveling rogue Rip Hunter gathers a team of heroes and villains to battle a threat who is capable of destroying time itself: The Atom, Dr. Martin Stein, Captain Cold, Heat Wave, White Canary, Jay Jackson, and Hawkgirl.
By now, it really kinda feels like some sort of D&D campaign; the plot is very serious but barely treated seriously at all, just enough to stay within what counts as that fictional universe's rules.
Characters fade in and out however the writers feel like and when occasionally one does die/leave, sometimes the actors simply return as a completely different character.
Not sure I have seen it done like that before, but it is rather fun.

I cant believe how much fun this show has turned out to be, its gone from easily being the worst in the DC TV universe that I just kind of suffered through to being much more entertaining than all the others except maybe Flash in his top episodes.
Dominic Purcell's gonna be mighty busy tonight. :P

I really really tried watching it but what actually killed it was my 12 year old daughter (big marvel, sci-fi fan) saying to me after watching it for 1 minute "Dad why are you doing this to yourself; This is worse than Flash and Arrow together". After that I followed the 12 year old wisdom and stopped watching it. Still watching arrow and flash though so I'm not cured completely yet.
The DC comics based adaptations are rubbish when you compare them to their Marvel based counterparts, designed to fill continuing family entertainment slots rather than as adult drama series like the Netflix adaptationsof Marvel characters.
I will watch the DC kiddy friendly shows, but they are only "filler" in my TV schedule!

I once liked Arrow but now i have to force myself to watch it and dropped it recently.
Legends of Tomorrow on the other hand i find very easy to watch atleast in this season.

This show is mediocre, but nothing comes close to the horror show that Arrow has become lol.
Yeah I'm a few episodes behind on arrow already and no real desire to watch it atm.
I find with LoT, the editing is weird. A lot of the scenes cut really quickly, almost like they are trying to squeeze a full 60 mins into 45 mins. It makes it feel cheaper and more hokey imo.
