.... so here is a bit of nitpicking

The map of the Soviet Union is hell-a-weird
There were 15 soviet republics which were called the Soviet Union - on the map 4 of those are shown as neutral, 9 are shown as satellite states and one is shown as either part of the Soviet Union or Russia depending on your interpretation.
Weird... Also three Estonian cities were pretty high on the list of targets in the event of a nuclear war so it is odd none of them weren't pointed out on the map (I assume the same goes for several other Baltic cities).
I am sure people who actually remember living in the Soviet Union would have more to nit-pick about, but this was the first bit for me :).
EDIT yes, if you haven't realized it yet, I watch this show from a completely different angle from most of you :D.
EDIT2: this might be a "bit" of a stretch, but living in Estonia this show made me feel like I am living in the modern version of "Western Germany". Perhaps I am politically paranoid or just drunk (probably the latter), but I kind of feel a connection there.

Thanks for the recommendation of this Katy. Very good so far after the Pilot.
Wouldn't surprise me if the BBC didn't pick this up to be show on Four.
Thats a good shout, if they did I would watch it again

Well, if you're going to be like that, I prefer the proper version that this was based on...

David Bowie - Space Oddity
Bu then I'm biased :)
I know it's based on Space Oddity and also on Ashes to Ashes by David Bowie, but personally i still like Major Tom more.
I think I agree.

But there are other great covers aswell:
The Contact - Major Tom
Shiny Toy Guns - Major Tom
Face to Face - Major Tom Coming Home
The Hooters - Major Tom
