Jimmy Chance, who hasn't made the best decisions in life, is trying his best to raise his daughter with the help of his family who didn't do the best job raising him as a child.
I don't think it was their fault this time.Yes, I know FOX is the perfect scapegoat and is always first to whom people raise their pitchforks, but they are really changing. They gave the show three tries (s02, s03, s04) with gaining viewers, they let Fringe end on it's note, they renewed Brooklyn, let The Good Guys run its course (DEA that gem?). Not to say that they're a reborn second coming of television Jesus, they did screw up the episode order for Almost Human, which was, ugh, but they're not the devil like from a few years ago.
Or at least that's my observation.
Yes, they're changing, but they've still got a long way to go. I also don't like how they continue to mess up episode order in their tv shows (latest example: Rake) and I'm also pretty sure they got new enemies by trying to kill off Bones quietly on Friday nights. But overall FOX and NBC have the most shows on my watchlist right now (not counting cable/non-US shows). :)

Yeah, I expected a cancellation a long time ago, but still it's going to be very sad to see this one go.

Well, they did keep it longer than a normal network should have, the ratings were semi-bad since s02.
