A post-apocalyptic drama about 100 juvenile delinquents that are released to the surface of a wildly changed Earth, with the survival of the human race entirely in their hands.
I loved the first few seasons, but it steadily declined imho, S05 was tolerable, S06 not so much, and S07 was a TOTAL mess.
Im SO happy we have Expanse and Foundation :D
The Expanse is now over?

In the end; I really liked how they portraied Murphy and his journey and also the fact that Bellamy FINALLY died was somewhat of a relief.

Sooooooo... that was the final episode! :D Interesting and weird and in the end a worthy goodbye to a long-running show. :)

The 100 prequel series backdoor pilot in development at The CW
The 100 is ending, but fans may not have to say goodbye to the world of the show just yet.
The CW is developing a prequel series to the popular sci-fi drama, EW has confirmed. The network has ordered production of a backdoor pilot, which means it will air as an episode of The 100 during its seventh and final season.
Sooooo, this prequel series will basically be a backstory for the ancestors of the Grounders?!? The seventh and final season of The 100 is still a good ways off and, already, they can't seem to let it go. :D
Oooo... that sounds interesting... but obviously no Clarke :(

Oooooooh, that sounds promising! Lots of potential. :) I hope the budget will be big enough to make it look realistic (enough).
Looks like Becca Franco is the only person in front of the camera who will get paid for the other side of the story, too. :)

Set 97 years before the events of the original series, the prequel show starts with the end of the world, a nuclear apocalypse that wipes out most of the human population on Earth. The epic adventure follows a band of survivors on the ground as they learn to cope in a dangerous world while fighting to create a new and better society from the ashes of what came before. Fans of The 100 know that these survivors will become what makes up the Grounder civilization that has been featured on the original series.

I'm guessing that A.L.I.E. will also be an important part of the story since it was directly responsible for launching the nuclear attack that decimated the majority of Earth's population. A.L.I.E.'s creator Becca Franco will probably be in it too.
