hey yeah to be honest i don't hate them. they kept the files going for ages. its my favourite show. but to be honest they are the ones who made the writers keep going. chris carter wanted to just make movies with the same mythology. FOX wanted more seasons. But still, they kept it on the air. and commissioned it in the first place. so i don't hate them. but i really liked Almost Human. on a different night and with the production order fixed, i think it would have gone further.

People! It got cancelled because not a lot of people watched it. If your product fails to bring revenue (because TV is not a charity), the wisest choice is to axe it. And the long wait between the, now, series finale and the cancellation announcement is probably because they were trying to work out a financing deal.

I'm pretty sure we all understand the how the commercial decisions for TV are supposed to work. Its not rocket science. What doesn't make sense is caused by the information you yourself linked too:

Its season finale earned a 1.5 adults 18-49 rating, identical to the numbers for last night's finale of The Following, which has been renewed for a third season.

So it gets the same ratings as a show that is renewed, yet it is cancelled.....yeah that really makes sense.

Well, they did renew Brooklyn 99, New Girl and Mindy Project, and also let Fringe to run its course.

No station is sacred, even HBO (Deadwood, Carnivale, etc).

Sadly we probably all knew it was coming deep down.

Its sci fi
Its not teen drama
Its not reality

Pretty surprising it got a series to start with at all...

Sadly thats so true, if the show had some teens on it, it would stand a lot better chance...

Stupid FOX!
