The story is set in a solitary hotel in Tokyo's Ginza district in a time when society has collapsed and humanity has disappeared, and nature has begun to reclaim most of the land.
It's a shame there was only one season, but not sure how far it could have gone.

Just finished this one - great show 5/5.
Kept me engaged for all 12 episodes with great character development and world building. The story is simple but beautiful. The ending was also everything you could've asked for.
Really bad this didn't get more attention, somehow it got lost in the spring-catalogue of anime :(

(aka Apocalypse Hotel)Really surprised to see this is only on 66 Watchlists right now.
It's a beautiful Anime with a great story and amazing setting. The synopsis leaves out that, even though humanity is gone, a few robots are left behind running a hotel. It's a great concept and gives a lot of possibilities for storylines.
It might feel a bit slow and boring at first, but can really draw you in after a few episodes.
The closest thing I can think of as a comparison would be . If you liked that one you might wanna check this one out as well.
