It also reminded me of the show were the guy kept waking up in the past. NBC does a half way decent job with sci-fi shows usually. Problem is no one watch's them.

I've just caught up on the entire series and after watching the finale I gotta say... dafuq did I just see? I didn't expect that I'll get an easy solution like Michael being in a coma or in a mental hospital, but I also didn't expect such a mindfucking finale with a third reality being created. I'm positively surprised and overall it was a good show with not so annoying procedural segments, solid interactions between the main characters and interesting "dirty cops" storyline.
PS. The entire show reminded me a lot of Day Break with the main character being "stuck" in an unusual pattern, aside of course from how things ended. :)

The season finale was the usual enigmatic cliffhanger, leaving some key questions still unanswered. These no doubt would have been addressed in the cancelled second season.

interesting interview with the creators
wonder if they always planned to be a 1 season show
I thought it was a great ending.
I agree! :D
For a cancelled show they wrap it all up quite nicely
