Based on the beloved book series by Anders Jacobsson and Sören Olsson, the series, set in the fictional city of Öreskoga, finds Bert as he turns 14 and is dumped by his girlfriend. He decides to try to find love again but encounters obstacles in the form of handsome guitar guys, embarrassing parents and sudden acne outbreaks.
