A police procedural based on Michael Connelly's novels about Harry Bosch, a veteran police homicide detective with the Los Angeles Police Department.
The pilot was written by Connelly and Treme co-creator/executive producer Eric Overmeyer, who are executive producing with Fabrik's Henrik Bastin and Mikkel Bondesen. Bosch has been at the center of or featured in 20 novels by Connelly, starting with the 1992 The Black Echo and most recently, last fall's The Black Box.
It could be good, but this part "Maddie (Madison Lintz), who is now an officer with the LAPD" I suspect can stink a lot.
Totally agree, I find her facial expressions so bloody irritating. Pouty insouciant sooky little s*******d
Has Honey Chandler's shooting supposed to have buggered up her speech or something? She seems to have aged 20 years and is almost slurring her words. Not sharp at all.
FFS I kept thinking how does Bosch expect his house to survive an earthquake in LA sitting on those poxy thin poles and then bam
These are people who build cities literally on top of a major subduction fault and housing developments on top of ridgelines surrounded by tinder dry brush and Santa Ana winds. The motto of California property owners is "It can't happen to me ".

I'm guessing this one will follow Maddie more than Harry,
Yeah, Im afraid youre right.... it could turn out good ofcourse, but I have my serious doubts...
Hopefully Maddie has outgrown the pouty sullen annoying kid thing.
Bosch: Legacy will jump ahead almost two years. It will focus on three characters from the original series: Bosch (Titus Welliver), now working as a private detective; Honey “Money” Chandler (Mimi Rogers), who last time we saw her was a high-powered defense attorney who'd been the victim of a murder attempt; and Bosch's daughter, Maddie (Madison Lintz), who is now an officer with the LAPD.
Bosch embarks on the next chapter of his career and finds himself working with his one-time enemy, Honey Chandler.
Really looking fwd to this.....
....Bosch as PI perhaps?

OK....so I just finished S07 and I have to say that imho its the best so far. Probably most because one gets "invested" in the characters in the show over the seasons - but also...the balance between politics and grunt-work was excellent, the partner-story was moving, the "family-stuff" worked just fine much better than any of the prev seasons.
"Fucking Bosch"......no new seasons :(
I am left wondering if there is no more seasons because the tv-show cought up to the written or.....`?
Anyways; if you like a good crime/detective-story imho this series is about as good as it gets.
