The show introduces Leo just as he settles into the high-tech home he shares with his inventor stepdad, Donald Davenport, his mom, Tasha, and Eddy, the "smart house" computer. There he discovers a secret underground lab with three experiments, super-human teens: Adam the strong one, Bree the fast one and Chase the smart one. The trio, eager to leave their confines, convinces Leo and his parents to let them join him at school where they try to fit in while trying to manage their unpredictable bionic strengths. Along the way, they help Leo build self confidence while he figures out a way to keep their bionic abilities a secret from the world.

He also likes to hang with his friends: Gunther, his loyal sidekick, who enthusiastically supports his every move; Wade, a slacker convenience store clerk, who is always ready to help out; and Mr. Vickle, Kick's neighbor, who provides encouragement and words of wisdom. Kick also has an older brother Brad, who relishes tormenting him, and a younger sister, Brianna, a spoiled pageant princess who covers everything with glitter -- making her, from Kick's point of view, "the opposite of awesome."

He is reunited with his three former gamer friends whom he left behind for life on the pro circuit World Tour, and quickly realizes that restoring his friendships is vital in his quest to "level up" to his former glory.

Rounding out the cast are Jane's father, Professor Archimedes Q. Porter; Tantor, the germophobic elephant; and Terk, a wisecracking female ape and Tarzan's old wrestling buddy.

A new animated series of shorts, LEGO Star Wars: The Resistance Rises is premiering on Disney XD, and will kick off with the episode "Poe to the Rescue". The shorts will feature all of the heroes and villains from Star Wars: The Force Awakens. The Resistance Rises will take place prior to the First Order's attack on Jakku, and will feature all-new stories starring Han Solo, Finn, Rey, Max Kanata and more. The first episode, "Poe to the Rescue", focuses on the the resistance pilot coming to the aid of Admiral Ackbar (*not a trap), who is being held captive by Captain Phasma (*possibly a trap). The episode will also feature Kylo Ren, C-3PO, and BB-8.
