The Stronghold
In the Yom Kippur War, there are 42 soldiers, under the command of a young lieutenant, in the "HaMazakh" outpost (an isolated outpost on the banks of the Suez Canal), in order to repel Egyptian enemy attacks. During the intense fighting, half of the soldiers are killed, while at the same time in the IDF bunker a Tel Aviv reserve doctor fights for the lives of the many wounded, and calls for urgent evacuation. After a week of siege and stubborn fighting, the soldiers realize that all rescue attempts have failed, the ammunition is running out and they are preparing for a fateful battle. A sharp confrontation between the commander of the outpost who calls to fight to the last bullet - and between the doctor who pushes for an orderly surrender to the Egyptians in order to save the lives of the wounded.

The investigation is entrusted to the hands of Yehuda, an investigator at the Jerusalem police station in the Russian compound, who discovers a connection to the murder of 12 women in the Soviet Union.

Winning the lottery is the ultimate dream come true. Everybody fantasizes about winning the big prize and living life without a worry in the world. The problem is that there is the fantasy, and then there is reality, and "nary the twain shall meet." Actually, most lottery winners lose all their money within just a few years of when they first won it. Some of them become addicts - to gambling or drugs. Some get tangled up in the gray market, while some get into all sorts of fights with their families. The actual winners talk about a radical shift in their lives - one that is too much for them to handle. They say they would rather go back to the way things were, before they won all that money.
Aviram Katz

A series of mysterious events lead Shaul to believe the base is cursed, as he slowly loses his sanity. Finally, he loses touch with reality and is replaced by Dudi - the platoon's humblest, most introverted soldier - who soon falls prey to the curse himself.
