These self-made multi-millionaires judge the business concepts and products pitched by ordinary Australians and then decide whether to invest their own money to help market and mentor each. In exchange for equity in their existing business, the aspiring entrepreneurs must convince a Shark their idea is original and the product worth pursuing ... but it takes more than passion to hook a Shark. Who will have the best business bait, the right line and the smarts to win a likely tug-of-war? And will anyone be mauled in the Shark Tank? Million Pound Menu neatly mixes two non-scripted TV staples: food and business. A cross between Dragons' Den and MasterChef, it gives aspiring restaurant owners the chance to pitch their food and business plans to some of the industry's most influential investors. In each episode, two different sets of restaurant hopefuls are given a trial in a pre-existing restaurant space to demonstrate their vision and business acumen, the quality of their food and their management skills - all in a bid to secure investment for their restaurant concept.

"Adventure Capitalists" can succinctly be described as "Shark Tank" for outdoor enthusiasts. In each hourlong episode, hopeful entrepreneurs pitch the investors - the titular "adventure capitalists" - their ideas for new outdoor products. The investors then head out into the world, going on real expeditions in challenging terrains, to experience the products firsthand to see if they live up to the entrepreneurs' claims. If the tests are successful, the potential backers can choose to make a large investment in each product. The investors who have the option to change the entrepreneurs' lives include former NFL player and TV host Dhani Jones, former Olympic skier Jeremy Bloom and venture capitalist Craig Cooper.
