Masterchef (UK)
Sunday afternoon culinary extravaganza hosted by Lloyd Grossman. Each show saw three amateur chefs battling it out to win the series title of Masterchef. Judging each show was a different prominent chef and a celebrity. In 2001, the series moved from it's Sunday afternoon slot on BBC1 to a new weeknight slot on BBC2. Gary Rhodes also took over as presenter.
Top Chef Family Style
Top Chef Family Style is another spinoff of the long-running Bravo cooking competition, which will feature young competitors paired up with adult family members. Meghan Trainor, who once sang, "I never learned to cook / But I can write a hook" on her 2014 song "Dear Future Husband," will host, alongside Top Chef Masters winner Marcus Samuelsson as head judge
The Taste (UK)
Nigella Lawson, Anthony Bourdain and Ludo Lefebvre battle it out to find the The Taste's first British winner. Each week the three mentors will face cookery challenges and blind-taste eliminations as the contestants battle it out to please the palates of the professionals with just one spoonful of food.
Morimoto's Sushi Master
Morimoto's Sushi Master features renowned chef and restauranter Masaharu Morimoto as head judge of a cooking competition centered on the world's most popular cuisine: sushi. Hosted by Lyrica Okano (Marvel's Runaways), the six-episode series highlights the skill, ingredients, delicacy and talent needed to perfect the art of sushi-making.
