Food Network's most ambitious and grueling culinary competition to date. Featuring 24 talented and fearless chefs who take on 24 food challenges in 24 consecutive, non-stop hours, the 24-hour competition takes the chefs to the extreme, demanding they display the skills, creativity and stamina needed to be an elite chef. At the end of the 24 hours, there can be only one true master left standing - and it's one selected by expert judges. The chef who cooked the best, for the longest and outlasted the competition will take home $50,000 and win a trip of a lifetime.

Judging each show was a different prominent chef and a celebrity. In 2001, the series moved from it's Sunday afternoon slot on BBC1 to a new weeknight slot on BBC2. Gary Rhodes also took over as presenter.
The Great American Baking Show
Based on the hit UK series The Great British Bake Off and hosted by Nia Vardalos and husband Ian Gomez, the four-episode, this show stars some of the nation's best amateur bakers as they compete in a series of themed challenges and eliminations all hoping to be crowned Holiday Baking Champion. For four weeks, James Beard Award-Winning pastry chef and author, Johnny Iuzzini, joins England's "Royal Queen of Baking," author and television personality Mary Berry, as they judge the decadent and delicious holiday fare these bakers create as they throw down their best culinary skills.
Guy's Grocery Games
Four talented chefs compete in supermarket-themed cooking challenges as they must navigate their way through the aisles, adhering to "real-world" challenges of shopping on a budget, substituting out-of-stock ingredients, and cooking (and checking out) with five items or less. In the end, the food does the talking, as one-by-one the losing chefs are "bagged," and the last chef standing goes on the shopping spree of a lifetime to make big bucks.
Beat Bobby Flay
Two talented chefs go head-to-head for the chance to Beat Bobby Flay. To get to Bobby the chefs must first face off against each other, creating a spectacular dish with a secret ingredient of Bobby's choice. Judges Alex Guarnaschelli and Jeff Mauro know Bobby's strengths and his weaknesses. Their goal: Pick the chef who has the skills to take down Bobby Flay in his own arena. The winning chef gets to challenge Bobby with his or her surprise signature dish. If Bobby goes down, the winner can tell the world, "I beat Bobby Flay!"
