The Munsters
Meet the Munsters; a family of... well... monsters! The head of the family is the Frankenstein-ish Herman and his wife, the vampire-like Lily. Their werewolf-ish son Eddie is the apple of their eye, while their beautiful, yet normal looking niece, Marilyn (whom the others pity due to her "un-Munsterlike" appearance ), still hopes to find a man that will overlook her shortcomings. Also living with the family is their Grandpa, who is also "bat-like," and who is always tinkering in his basement lab, usually to bad results. Together the family must try to fit into with their otherwise normal neighborhood. Although they are not always successful, it usually winds up being resolved in a hilarious kind of way.

Teenage Euthanasia
Set in a mildly apocalyptic near-future, Teenage Euthanasia centers around the Fantasy Family and their inland Florida funeral home, Tender Endings. The cast of characters include recently undead Trophy Fantasy, her teenage daughter, Euthanasia "Annie" Fantasy, Annie's Oedipus-complex-stricken Uncle Pete and Annie's "old country" immigrant grandmother Baba. As a teen mom, Trophy ran away from home, leaving Annie behind to be raised by her Baba and Uncle Pete. Fifteen years later, Trophy finally returns to Tender Endings...as a corpse, for burial. But when a bolt of lightning strikes Baba's homemade embalming fluid, and one of Annie's tears magically bring Trophy back from the dead, Trophy finds herself a resurrected woman with a second chance at unplanned parenthood (and a variety of quasi-useful death powers).

The Addams Family (1973)
The animated series of the weird, wealthy family as they find things pleasing that most people would just rather avoid. There is Gomez Addams, the father of the family and his wife Morticia. Their children are Wednesday, who loves to torture anything in her reach, especially Pugsley, who takes those tortures in delight almost as much as food. Then there is Uncle Fester. He loves explosives, any you usually find him with ash all over his face. Grandmama is a witch, and can usually brew something up. They also have a butler, Lurch and a dismembered helping hand named 'Thing', Instead of greetings guests, Thing tends to just scare them off. Occasionally, Cousin Itt stops by. Cousin Itt is a tiny, mass of hair who mumbles instead of speaking.

The misadventures of a 30-year-old paperboy (played by Chris Elliott) and his wacky parents. Show topics included the eating of a space alien, a robotic paperboy and numerous beheadings. Get a Life was also one of the first television shows that featured the killing of its star (and repeatedly so!).
The Addams Family (1992)
This animated series is the fourth incarnation of the creepy characters based on the macabre family comics created by Charles Addams. It first came out as a television series in the 1960's. They then became animated in the 70's, first in their own animated series, and then an appearance in The New Scooby-Doo Movies around the same time. The family then went movie-bound in the early 90's as they were put on the big screen. It was a hit at the box office, which prompted a sequel (Addams Family Values), but before then, this second animated series that features the gang of macabre miscreants who have their own unusual ways of having fun adventures.
