The Joy of Techs
Alexis Conran & Marcus Brigstocke put all manner of hi- and lo- tech gadgets to the test in their own inimitable way. Every episode takes on a different element of a modern man's life as gadget geek Alexis attempts to persuade the more 'traditional' Marcus that technology is always best. There's non-stop back and forth as the boys battle it out to prove one of them is right in a series of scenarios, from lazy Sundays to winter sports.
The New Avengers
In The New Avengers, Patrick Macnee reprises his role of John Steed of The Avengers (1961-69) but this time with two new partners, Mike Gambit (Gareth Hunt) and Purdey (Joanna Lumley).
Like its predecessor, the series often featured fantastical plots with diabolical masterminds as villains, but this new version infused the franchise with a thrilling new feel.
Bold colors, spectacular shooting locations, and less-ambiguous plots & characters all combined to present an exciting new series.
Super Secret Secret Squirrel (1993)
A new take on the classic Secret Squirrel series, this incarnation takes Secret and Morocco Mole through a series of adventures fighting villains, ranging from a Queen Bee to a Quark. Secret and Morocco use their gadgets, Secret's skills and Morocco's clumsiness to triumph.
This show-within-a-show ran during the series 2 Stupid Dogs. However, even though they shared the same time slot the series were unrelated to each other in theme and topic.
Gadget and the Gadgetinis
Gadget has been promoted to the rank of Lieutenant and recruited by the World Organization of Mega Powers (WOMP), an elite international peacekeeping organization whose goal is to defend humankind from the world's most menacing villains. That may sound like a daunting task, but with the help of some new zany gadgets and a new set of assistants: the Gadgetinis - a team of pint-sized robotic versions of Inspector Gadget who are frequently the unintended victims of his bumbling, Gadget is still up to the task. Just like the old days, Gadget still gets help from his brainy 12-year-old niece, Penny, whether he likes it or not. Penny created the Gadgetinis two plucky teenage robots, the responsible Digit and the mischievous Fidget, to help her uncle, since Brain has now retired from active duty. Agent Fidget and Agent Digit, as Gadget likes to call them, form a comical tandem with their different personalities. Now under the control of Colonel Nozzaire, Lieutenant Gadget must battle long time nemisis Dr. Claw, along with a slew of new baddies, such as villainous mutant monsters and power-hungry space aliens. But in the end, thanks to his heart of gold, his indefatigable spirit and a little help from his brilliant niece Penny, Gadget always manages to save the day. But not without a good bit of property destruction along the way. It seems some things never change
