Major Tony Nelson is an astronaut. His training mission left him stranded on a deserted beach where he finds a unique bottle. When he pulled out the stopper, out popped Jeannie, a beautiful, yet naive genie. She informs Maj. Nelson that he is now her master, and she can grant any wish he desires.

Aladdin, the clever hero of Agrabah, continues his adventures with the help of his fiancee Princess Jasmine, his pet monkey Abu, Magic Carpet, Iago the greedy parrot, and of course his best friend the semi-cosmic Genie.

Jeannie was a 30-minute Saturday morning animated series produced by Hanna-Barbera Productions in association with Screen Gems from September 8, 1973 to August 30, 1975 on CBS. It is loosely based upon the 1960s sitcom I Dream of Jeannie. The animated series features the eponymous genie character with master Corey Anders, a high school student, and his best friend Henry Glopp. The series also featured Babu, a cowardly, bumbling, immature genie-in-training under Jeannie's charge.
