This English crime drama series, based on books by Caroline Graham, is filmed mostly in the villages and towns of the rural counties of Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire. A veteran DCI and his young Sergeant investigate murders around the regional community of Midsomer.

The Murders is a police procedural crime drama. Kate Jameson is a rookie homicide detective who searches for redemption in her investigative work after her negligence is the cause of a fellow officer's death. Jameson is partnered with Detective Mike Huntley with whom she navigates the case of a mysterious serial killer who uses music for destructive ends.

Police detectives Jack and Kate have very different approaches to the job and life in general. In fact they disagree on everything.

The story follows the incredibly wealthy Daisuke Kanbe who audaciously solves cases in unconventional ways. Whereas Tsutsui serialized the original novel from 1975 to 1977, the anime moves the setting into the modern day. Kanbe is assigned to the "Modern Crimes Task Unit" - a unit created to keep problematic officers away from others. There, Kanbe becomes partners with Katō.

Each crime story is heavily rooted in the rich and varied culture and history of Istanbul and set against the vibrant, dazzling and frenzied world of modern-day Turkey.

A dutch police series. Based on the Belgian series Flikken. The series is located in Maastricht, the far south of The Netherlands. The team consists of Floris Wolfs (Victor Reinier) and his partner Eva van Dongen (Angela Schijf), who deal with murder, mobsters, abduction, blackmail and even terrorism while cops Marion Dreesen and Romeo Sanders deal with smaller cases.
