Designers Amy and Kate take inspiration from homeowners' personal stories to create custom, one-of-a-kind spaces for their families to gather.

After years of perfecting their passion for interior design in their own homes, Tish and Brandi Cyrus take their talents to the streets of their hometown, Nashville, to share their skills with friends and word-of-mouth clients. Each 30-minute episode begins as mother and daughter present competing ideas within a given budget for rooms that are in design distress. Once the client chooses a renovation plan, they must work together to turn that vision into a reality. With décor dilemmas and makeover malfunctions along the way, will this dream team deliver the desired results or crack under pressure?

This series follows Don Short and his crack team of pickers, carpenters and designers as they find and create amazing one-of-a-kind pieces out of salvaged treasures. Whether they're prying unusual details off the sides of old buildings or competing with quirky Midwest pickers for the ultimate find, they take their haul back to Don's 50,000-square-foot warehouse in downtown Des Moines to spin gold out of straw. In the end, whether it's a lamp made from a bakery whisk or a bench fashioned from a pig trough, these items will ultimately become the centerpieces of stunning room makeovers for customers in the know.
