This animated series, based on Kevin Smith's 1994 film of the same name, centers on Dante Hicks and Randal Graves, the clerks at The Quick Stop and RST Video. These "slackers" spend most of their time spoofing pop culture and whining about their miserable lives.

Beef House is a multi-camera sitcom about five men - Tim, Eric, Ron Auster, Ben Hur, Tennessee Luke - and Eric's wife Megan, living under one roof. Each week Tim, a laid-back rock-and-roll slacker, and his best friend Eric, a high-strung stay-at-home husband, find themselves in the middle of a madcap misadventure that can only be traversed with the help of their fellow Beef Boys.

Sam Sullivan is a guy right out of college who becomes the first among his friends to get a real job, as a Chicago-based airline's youngest executive, and straddles the fence between slacker and working man.

On his quest to become the world's greatest daredevil, Kick Buttowski performs suburban stunts, such as riding down Dead Man's Drop on an ironing board or racing the school bus with a soda-powered jet pack. If one of his stunts goes awry, Kick responds with his customary "I'm good!" then picks himself up and tries it again. He also likes to hang with his friends: Gunther, his loyal sidekick, who enthusiastically supports his every move; Wade, a slacker convenience store clerk, who is always ready to help out; and Mr. Vickle, Kick's neighbor, who provides encouragement and words of wisdom. Kick also has an older brother Brad, who relishes tormenting him, and a younger sister, Brianna, a spoiled pageant princess who covers everything with glitter -- making her, from Kick's point of view, "the opposite of awesome."

This comedy tells the story of a 32-year-old slacker who still lives with his parents--as told through the eyes of the successful 40-something man he has become.

These office workers are the ultimate slackers. Though we can't blame them, it can't be much fun working in the post room of a personal injury law firm.
