NFL Thursday Night Football
In addition to the traditional Sunday and Monday games, this 8-part package features football games from early November to December on Thursday nights. Beginning with the 2012 season, the Network aired 13 Thursday night games and beginning in 2014, the telecasts were aired jointly by the NFL Network and CBS.
NBC Sunday Night Football
NBC is fielding a bus of an analyst (Jerome Bettis), the insightful ex-wide receiver Cris Collinsworth and the imperturbable Bob Costas. It might also be worth mentioning that they will be featuring the tried and true, heavy-hitting commentating power of Al Michaels and John Madden. Throw in the power, speed and strength of the NFL's top teams and Sundays should prove to be an exciting night of big hits, hard falls, and spectacular football.
Inside the NFL
Since its premiere in 1977, the heart of the one-hour show has been its exclusive and award-winning inside views from NFL Films, as well as its storied roster of talent recapping the weekend's games and previewing the match-ups for the week ahead. The talent team for Inside the NFL on Showtime will be announced in the coming weeks.

NFL Primetime
This longtime ESPN staple doesn't air in prime time anymore, and the original tag team of Chris Berman and Tom Jackson are no longer involved. But it lives on, albeit in a slightly different form, with host Trey Wingo presenting a shorter-form highlights package of Sunday's NFL action coupled with more in-depth analysis from former players Merril Hoge and Tim Hasselbeck.
Inside MMA
Inside MMA is hosted by Bas Rutten and Kenny Rice. The show features a guest panel that provides commentary on Mixed Martial Arts events around the world, including the IFL, HDNet Fights, Strikeforce, and the UFC.
Feherty
He usually says whatever pops into his anecdote-filled, zany mind, a trait that has made David Feherty quite popular in his role as a golf commentator for CBS Sports. It should also come in handy in this prime-time series, with the bulk of each episode being an interview Feherty conducts with a well-known sports, entertainment or political figure. The former European and PGA tour pro, a born and bred Irishman who became a U.S. citizen in 2010, also shares unique golf stories and his ever-so-present observations on life's peculiarities.
