Twelve-year-old over-achiever Layne finds her orderly life thrown into a tailspin when she discovers a sophisticated talking car named "V.I.N." hidden in an abandoned shed.

John Stroker, his partner Hoop, and their wise-talking car, C.A.R.R. are private investigators. They solve cases for anyone who is desperate/dumb enough to responds to their 1/8 page ad in the yellow pages.

All of the Cars Toons follow the same formula: Mater tells a story of something he has done in the past. In the story, Mater finds himself in an inescapable predicament. When McQueen questions Mater over whether the events in the story actually occurred, Mater responds, "Don't you remember? You was there too!", and continues the story including McQueen's participation.

Tinker, Mark and Debbie are three teenagers who drive Speed Buggy, their custom-built talking car. The group travel around the world entering various races, but always seem to get caught up in the nefarious plans of local super-villains.
