Petra
Police Inspector Petra Delicato works in the archive department of the Genoa Flying Squad. That is, until the day in which, due to staff shortage, she is assigned her first operational case. She finds herself working alongside the Police Constable Antonio Monte, an old-fashioned, middle-aged man with a rational mind. The crime series is inspired by the character of Detective Petra Delicado, conceived by Spanish author Alicia Giménez Bartlett, but takes place in the Italian city of Genova, instead of the original Barcelona.

The Day Today was a satire spoofing current affairs TV programmes which featured a team that was then relatively new to television. All the cast had been involved in a BBC radio show, On The Hour, which had taken a similar swipe at radio current affairs programming.

With no sense of on-camera technique, the Kate's will shuffle through a roster of unsafe demonstrations, surly guests, underprepared experts and the over-lit decomposition of the duo's already rocky relationship. Like any televisual format that The Kates put their rough, manly hands to, things on Get Krack!n' will go downhill fast. Frankly, whatever the hour, an audience deserves better.

Garry's mom also makes occasional appearances and refers to him as Bubba. The final season saw Garry marry Phoebe, who has to get used to being in front of the cameras.
