Ali, a Palestinian, and Sa'ar, an Israeli, met at a peace camp as children, and grew up together in war-torn Jerusalem. Their own personal tragedies made them as close as brothers. When the second intifada strikes, the two best friends suddenly find themselves on opposite sides of the conflict: Ali must abandon his dream of becoming a surgeon to join an armed militia in Nablus, while Sa'ar is recruited to a secret Israeli intelligence unit leading the search for a mysterious commander of the Palestinian militia. Jenny, an American war journalist who loves them both, will have to pick a side.

A family grieves the death of their daughter in a suicide bombing. Meanwhile, her brother suspects she is still alive after glimpsing her in a news report and sets off to find her in the Middle East.

The series, loosely based on the true story of the assassination in Dubai of a senior Hamas official Mahmoud al-Mabhouh - the co-founder of military wing of the Islamist Palestinian group Hamas on 19 January 2010, revolves around five ordinary Israeli citizens who discover one morning via the media that they are the principal suspects of a high-profile kidnapping and are implicated as culprits in the kidnapping.

The high-octane thriller revolves around the O'Connor family and their son, Alex, a decorated American war hero and CIA analyst who is a true patriot and loves his country and family. Unbeknownst to him, both of his parents and his sister are part of a dormant Russian sleeper cell that has just been reactivated. Once the parents are reluctantly pulled back in, the stakes rise they are coerced into spying on their own son and turning him against his country. (Source: Deadline.com)
