TV Series created by John Langley
Jail: Las Vegas
In the same way that "Cops" hops all over the country, shooting at whatever locations will embrace its camera crews, "Jail" visits different correctional facilities, and focuses on a series of different officers. If producers John and Morgan Langley (father and son) aren't guilty of front-loading the premiere, it looks like they'll have no shortage of interesting subjects and suspects.
Cops
Called the original reality show, COPS hit the airwaves in 1989, putting camera crews in police cars all across the United States. Adopting the Cinema Verité style of documentary filming, COPS uses no narration, depending completely on the police officers and the footage shot as it happens to tell the story.
