Las Pelotaris 1926
Three Basque pelota players try to achieve their dreams by overcoming the prevailing prejudices and restraints in the 1920s, when men monopolized all power. Chelo, Idoia and Itzi are successful athletes who assume the consequences of breaking the mold in a world where ambition and sexual freedom were denied to the female gender.
Victim Number 8
An attack of jihadist nature in the old town of Bilbao ends the lives of seven people and leaves more than thirty badly injured, many of them seriously. Victims and executioners will be equally the protagonists of a plot in a personal key. Narrated as a thriller, the story deals with how those characters live the consequences of barbarism. The police investigation will focus on catching those responsible for the killing. A hunt in which our characters will be immersed in a dizzying spiral full of unsuspected twists.
