This show takes place in a fictitious desert town in Texas near the border with Mexico Border Patrol agent, Bud Buckwald, a married father of three is not adjusting well to the cultural changes around him, including his next-door neighbor Ernesto Gonzales, a Mexican immigrant and father of four.

This show is about two college freshman, Del and Sandford, who start college at Barder College, a college filled with bad education and drunks. They share a room with a premed student, Joe, who is uptight and pays his way though college. The theme is Fight Test from The Flaming Lips.
