The Lawyer follows the dangerous descent of Swedish defence lawyer Frank Nordling (Alexander Karim) into the Copenhagen underworld. When he discovers that the firm's most important client is responsible for the murder of his parents when he was just a child, Nordling is drawn into a life-threatening web of violence and revenge.

A series of five made for television movies, plus one made for theatrical release, with stories of murder and death in the Swedish village of Fjällbacka, with characters created by novelist Camilla Läckberg.
