Tucker's Luck was a British television series made by the BBC between 1983 and 1985. The series is a spin-off from the school drama Grange Hill and capitalised on the popularity of one of the series' original characters - Peter "Tucker" Jenkins, played by Todd Carty. Tucker's Luck followed the exploits of Tucker and his friends, Alan Humphries and Tommy Watson, after they had left school and their attempts to find employment and cope out there in the "real world".

Brookside is a British soap opera set in Liverpool, England. The series began on the launch night of Channel 4 on 2 November 1982, and ran for 21 years until 4 November 2003. Originally intended to be called Meadowcroft, the series was produced by Mersey Television and it was conceived by Phil Redmond who also devised Grange Hill (1978-2008) and Hollyoaks (1995-present).

Grange Hill is one of the most successful television children's dramas of all time. The drama takes a look at teenagers and their dilemmas in a Secondary school. Grange Hill has been running for over 20 years and many of the actors have gone on to star in other well known programmes such as Brookside, ER and Eastenders. It was first shown in 1978 and Its still going today. Its Powerful storyline's, brilliant characters and superb cast. It's no wonder Grange Hill is a brilliant success. Grange Hill was previously filmed in London but now the show creator Phil Redmond has moved filming up to Liverpool so a lot of Actors have not made the move from London to Liverpool.
