TV Series created by Sherwood Schwartz
The bunch gets serious in this dramatic update of the happy-go-lucky series.
Gilligan's Planet (1982)
Gilligan's Planet was a Saturday morning cartoon show that aired on CBS from 1982 to 1984. It was one of the last good cartoon shows that aired, because after this show, 80's cartoons got stupider and stupider. It was cancelled not because of poor ratings but because Filmation (the company that produced it) ran out of business. It was also Filmation's last network cartoon series, starting in 1983, they focused on syndication with He-Man, She-Ra, Filmation's Ghostbusters & Marshall Bravestarr. Gilligan's Planet still remains a fondly remembered cartoon classic, just like it's two originals.
The Brady Brides
Marcia and Jan marry their sweethearts and both couples move in together in this spin-off, featuring recurring appearances by Carol and Alice.
A stage and a wagon heading west get separated from the rest of the wagon train thanks to Dusty. Now they must make their way to California.
The Brady Bunch
In this series, Michael Paul Brady marries Carol Ann Tyler Martin and they combine their families. Mike had three sons from a previous marriage and Carol had three daughters also from a previous marriage. Mike's previous wife had died and the fate of Carol's previous husband was never explained. However, creator Sherwood Schwartz, originally intended Carol to have been divorced, but ABC balked at that idea. So thus we have two parents (Mike and Carol),six kids (Greg, Marcia, Peter, Jan, Bobby & Cindy), one housekeeper (Alice), and the family dog (Tiger), all living under one roof.
Gilligan's Island centered around a group of people who where stranded on an uncharted deserted island somewhere in the Pacific Ocean. They all were on a boat tour, which found itself in the middle of a storm leading them to crash on an island!
