In the online fantasy RPG Elder Tales, players are trapped after an expansion package is installed. To survive, grad student Shiroe forms a guild called Log Horizon with other players. Log Horizon is a story of survival as Shiroe and his guild navigate a world full of monsters. They must work together to find a way out of the game and back to reality.
