A group of five children are kidnapped from a kindergarten. At the same time, geologist Lena (Karolina Kominek) and her team of colleagues are preparing for a scientific expedition to Antarctica. When it turns out that the kidnapping suspect is Ada (Alicja Wieniawa-Narkiewicz) - Lena's teenage daughter, the mother puts her professional plans on hold and returns to her hometown of Wałbrzych to find her daughter, with whom she lost contact many years ago.
