Even though the premise seems dull, two things stand out here. The acting, which is spot on, and the writing, which doesn't waste a second of dialogue and you just so quickly feel the characters and it's just a pleasure to watch. It's not a washdown, teenage angst daytime soap, but a fleshed out drama about people.
