Finally finished season 1 - enjoyed it!

It's set to "Canceled/Ended" here, but Google's AI Overview gave me this:

"Dope Thief" has not been officially renewed for a second season by Apple TV+. There are no official announcements about its cancellation either, so the future of the series remains uncertain.

While there are no guarantees, the series has received positive reviews. Additionally, the finale of season 1 leaves room for potential storylines in a future season. Some actors, like Kiều Chinh, have expressed their interest in a second season. However, Apple TV+ has not made any official decisions regarding renewal at this time.

Season 1 works well as a mini series though. Let's see... :)

I'm still undecided. I've watched 3 now but it's one of those shows I find myself on my phone while it's on. Or even talk to the wife :)

Managed three episodes and then dropped it as well, the story just couldn't keep me interested.

It's still very well made and everyone is doing a great job here.

I feel the same. I wanted to love it but couldn't get through episode 2, either.

This ones not for me which is surprising as it is usually the sort of program that I like I gave up part way through E02

@WilliamDrakeMcGregor regarding 1x1:
To be fair, the way they showed how he staked out the farm, it was open to interpretation how much work he actually put into it. :)

1x2: Enjoyed it! The panic of the situation getting worse and worse... Well done.
And... the first "squashed sideways by a garbage truck" death ever on screen!?

Indeed, at the very least the show is very well directed and written.
The cast & characters are also pretty good.

From what I've seen in EP01, will have to see about the story though...

That farm with three separate buildings is possibly the worst target for a "raid" and even an amateur should see that.
Up until that point Ray was portrayed as somewhat smart, making the decisions and plans for the duo.
But deciding that this possible target was acceptable is moronic, no matter how much money you need.

The moment he snorted coccaine should've been the moment they aborted the mission. If not that than the hat would've been the next clue that this guy is not up to the task.
