I liked both seasons but definitely not for everyone

I watched season 2, very forgettable.
Quick question:
When Jen fell in the void at the end of season 2, do you think that was written as a possible ending to the show, in case they don't get picked up for season 3? Do you think writers, knowing renewal is not guaranteed, are intentionally writing season finales that can also work as series enders? Does anyone know of other shows that have done that?
S01 wasn't a good season, but it was ok and entertaining - quality of S02 sadly dropped further, so i started skipping quite a bit. Forgettable indeed. Pity, since there was a good "absurd"-style comedy potential, bummer.
The "void"-drop was VERY foreseeable, and yes - this might be a simple open end or a nice pickup for S03 :D

Wizard may have been drunk when posting. ;) Thanks for mentioning it, I moved it.
Here I thought Wizard just wanted us to talk about Extraordinary from a more thematic and general discussion point of view, like, the nature of human evolution, guided vs. unguided, developing superpowers, and adjusting to the awkward and bizarre social trends associated with it.

I thought he just couldn't fly because he'd lost confidence from the unfamiliar rejection. Who knows though.

Marathoned it. Loved that scene where Jenn ate the onion. A young actors dream job. So funny. :D
I'm surprised Kash didn't use his superpower for fighting crime, was kinda looking forward to him using his power and defeating the baddies and then feeling like he cheated, he only used it on his rival. So much more you can do with time travel. 5 minute reversing time reminded me a bit of the movie NEXT with Nicholas Cage....also Hiro from Heroes.
Jenn's superpower is the removal of other peoples super powers, right? That guy couldn't fly, so I'm guessing.
