An offbeat comedy from the team behind 'Smack the Pony', set in a hospital, and is very much character-based, with storylines involving a staff liasion officer who hates people, a humourless consultant who thinks he's funny, and a handful of sexual predators and inadequates.
My god this is so hilarious . Just finished season 1 , i can't believe how funny it is .

Have thought about trying this for a while, might give it a go, altough im having trouble making time for all my shows, have droped about 20 shows recently

That summary misses a major story line out between the brilliant Dr. Alan Statham or Joanna Clore.
Along with him and Sue White, the program is typical British humour... Excellent ending in the 2 hour ending episode too!
Oh and go watch CAMPUS too, it's just started (2 episodes shown), and it's by the same writers...
Green Wing is a British sitcom that aired for two series on Channel 4. Dr. Caroline Todd (Tamsin Greig) is the newest addition to the unusual staff of East Hampton Hospital Trust. Caroline's life is already a wreck, full of crises and indecision, but it's about to get a whole lot more complicated. Dr. Guy Secretan (Stephen Mangan) and Dr. Mac Macartney (Julian Rhind-Tutt) are her two impossibly attractive coworkers. She has feelings for both, but can't decide which one she really loves. It doesn't help that Guy is a womanizer, and Mac is the local heartthrob. Caroline's main competition for Mac's heart is Sue White (Michelle Gomez), the hospital's staff liaison. She's supposed to listen and respond to the staff's problems, but she's pretty bad at her job.
