The North Yorkshire town's festive preparations as more than 50 shops pull out all the stops to put on the best window display possible and impress the crowds. In the first episode, independent retailers begin their preparations for the window competition, and upmarket gift boutique owner Georgina aims to mark her 10th Christmas in the town by installing a very special window design. Meanwhile, DJ's Nick and Will hit the streets with Santa to raise the funds to keep the festivities going.
