A parody of shows such as Anthony Bourdain's No Reservations and Parts Unknown, Hidden America with Jonah Ray takes viewers through nine American cities with the host, comedian Jonah Ray. The experiences had in each city run from over the top (Joel Murray running a hot dog shop in which each hot dog is carefully handcrafted to order, including flying to multiple cities for the toppings), to ridiculously over the top (the Boston Sports fan who beat himself into a wheelchair when someone put a Yankee ballcap on him). A delightful mix of sightseeing, clever writing, and great performances from Ray and his many guests. Real places, fake people, Hidden America.
