Maria Guerra, captain of the Carabinieri, returns to her city, a beautiful port in southern Italy, after about ten years of life in Rome. A radical change to protect her children, Luce and Riccardo, but also a painful return that reopens an old wound. Ten years earlier in that same city her husband, a magistrate of the Juvenile Court, lost his life in an apparent car accident.
