Joe Pickett follows a game warden and his family as they navigate the changing political and socio-economic climate in a small rural town in Wyoming. Surrounded by rich history and vast wildlife, the township hides decades of schemes and secrets that are yet to be uncovered.
joe pickett the show with the best acting, great plot and story but written by the worst writers.
i love alot about joe pickett season one and two
but i hate just as much. maybe a little more.
but it comes down to joe being just to stupid ( or i should say written poorly) to
even think he should still breathing, i am glad there is no season 3.
he does the same stupid things over and over.
gets badly hurt over and over.
never learns.
and no one could believe anyone would be that insane, for any reason.
i will have to read the books and see if it was the show writing or the author.
( some of the side stories are just so pointless its better to skip them)

I second that. First season done and about to start the second sometime this week. There are so many shows I wouldn't even know existed without this site - thanks ;)

Thanks for recommending this series I had missed it. With nothing much to watch at the moment I have given it a go and 3 episodes in of S1 I am enjoying it.

I've watched all the episodes, seasons 1 & 2, and yes, did it ever amp up in season 2.
It's funny, when I was looking at what they had at Paramount+, looking for something interesting, I'd chosen Special Ops: Lioness and Joe Pickett thinking I'd watch the first episode of each and see how I felt about it. I liked Joe Pickett so well that I couldn't even go back to Special Ops: Lioness. I did watch the last episode of Dark Winds on Sunday but otherwise every day have watched a few episodes of Joe Pickett steady like.
It's a really good show. Had I watched the trailer first I probably wouldn't have been interested because of the way it was strung together, didn't find it appealing.
