FFS Netflix have cancelled it. A second season was primed for and it looked to be heading in the right direction for an equally good 2nd run but no.
Netflix have power over me and I don't like it.

Ah, okay, so if I'm creating a page for a show on this forum section and the show already has a trailer on its page I don't need to add a trailer link here. Cool. Will change my sig
A French drama set.... you guessed it..... in the French Revolution! Well, this first season covers the origins of La Révolution the second will take things further one assumes.

As I've said before I don't watch trailers but the one and only time before that I started a topic on a show I didn't include links to trailer and stuff (and got a little telling off) so here are some (that I haven't watched) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IsxWB4IDTrs not sure if its dubbed or not. But I only do subtitles, dubbing can eff off. I had to watch some of Barbarians in the dubbed version cus due to um 'technical' issues I couldn't get it subtitled. Crap.
This show takes a bit of historical fact and blends it with the supernatural to create a drama with strong elements of horror. I loved it. Clever, intriguing from the start, excellent cast and production values. Characters that might start out white have to adopt some black and the show has a feel of dark hopelessness at times, the weak downtrodden masses against the elite with their troopers and guns (feel like busting into Zombie by The Cranberries, ah I miss Dolores O'Riordan). But we must soldier on against the oppressors no matter what the personal cost, death itself is better than letting these monstrous people rule our lives!
From the very first scene I was hooked. Highly recommended.

Btw: are you aware that many show pages - like https://next-episode.net/la-revolution - already have a trailer embedded?
