Set in the proverbial boomtowns of West Texas, Land Man is a modern day tale of fortune seeking in the world of oil rigs. The series is an upstairs/downstairs story of roughnecks and wildcat billionaires fueling a boom so big, it's reshaping our climate, our economy and our geopolitics.
Sorry, no info about the next episode of Landman is available yet.
The TV show is either in vacation or waiting to start their new season. When information about future episodes becomes available, it will be posted here.
Just rewatched ep.8 dinner table Ariana, Cooper and Tommy. Ariana shows her intelligence, thoughtfulnes and personal awareness. By putting Tommy in his place. That is of where his position stands within hers and Coopers budding relationship. Tommys admiration and respect of her shows as he goes out the door. Whatever comes her and Cooper.
She is a strong, thoughtful intelligent woman.
I hope they don't level her down. Cooper needs a smart loving woman that has his back. He has the potential to live the life Tommy almost succeeded at reaching. Before the oil price crash 10 or so years earlier.

A good series finale with enough threads left open for a second series but also if it is not renewed it reached a reasonable end.
Well said, couldn't agree more.
The only thing I don't get... how is Cooper doing his plan without any capital?

I have noticed Cami has a touchy feely confidence with Tommy. Don't be surprised if she leans into her hidden feeling towards Tommy.
Looks more like a brother/sister dynamic to me.
Episode 9 felt a bit disappointing.
Cooper and Ariana + Tommy and Angela...basically just a repeat of the exact same conversations they had in previous episodes...

On the plus side Sheridan (and his ego) haven't co-opted an episode ... yet.

Just watched Episode 5...my favorite so far.
It had some good very beautiful moments in it and was also very well written.
- The speach Tommy gave to the Kartell guy
- Cooper and Ariana at her house
- Tommy and Angela in the kitchen
- Cooper and Ariana on the phone
- Tommy and Angela in the bathroom
- The end, of course
If Cooper and Ariana do not end up in a romantic way, this will be one of the better male-female friendships I have seen on screen.
If they end up together, this will be a swing and a miss...

This is an interesting new series with some great one liners.
And solid IMDb ratings. :)
I plan to watch it some day for sure!
I used to trust IMDB ratings. I no longer do. Most of the ratings of 6 and up, when I watched the movie, deserved maybe a 2 or 3.
It is especially bad when they get the crew who made the movie to leave positive reviews. Which has been done before.

Surely if you're interested in the subject matter then you'll watch and if not you won't?
Ratings mean shit!! Everything is subjective.
I agree with ratings in the middle, those movies and shows can always go either way, but how about a movie or tv show with an imdb rating of 0-3? Can you say the same for those? I tried many before and those ratings were always pretty accurate.
Same goes for ratings of 7-10. Sure in those cases it still depends if it's a type of movie you like in general (like musicals, you really have to be into those to enjoy them) - but even if you don't like the type of movie or show, in general the overall quality looks also accurate to the rating.
