Totally agree with you though — this show has that perfect mix of clever and goofy humor that just works every time. It's one of those rare ones where you go in expecting a quick laugh and end up grinning the whole episode. I'm the same way, always looking forward to the next one!

Oh, interesting... I fell way behind with episodes and don't remember Trump being so present.
Watching it from the beginning. Loved the earlier seasons.
These last few season however I don't think there was a single episode where he didn't mention trump...getting kinda tired of that.
Even if the topic seems unrelated he still manages to make it all the way back to trumps policies - I get that many issues involve the president (especially this one) but c'mon even John Oliver must get tired of talking about him.
I used to quite enjoy the show, but it has now turned into an endless tirade against about Bad Orange Man well over 50% of the time. I now find it tedious.
This is such a great show, covers a wide variety of topics, and you CAN'T watch an episode without smiling or laughing at least once. :) I look forward to every single episode.
