yeah, i really like it. i do hope its got the dark humour of californication throughout, but with a larger arc threading through.

Rewatched it for the 3th time today, still awesome. Not sure why, but I really like this one.
Pilot and s01e01 are indeed the same.

Let's hope the writers don't follow the flock of current tv-shows, i.e. they won't eventually walk into the s**t most series now are.

Episodes marked "Pilot" and "S01E01" appear to be the same.

Does anyone know if there were any differences between the early leaked pilot and the one that aired the other night?

Oh I forgot about the drug use, for me it wasn't even a thing I noticed, the stories were what was important to me. Guess if you're the kind of person who is horrified by that stuff it was all they could see :p

Oh well, everyman can now be at ease because in this latest incarnation he's running a bar and selling alcohol, the legal drug.

Three months + one week (pilot) :p :'(

I suspect the drug use in Rush crashed the ratings, not for everyone...

Yeah that's what I guessed as well.

It's weird, the other show (called Rush) the lead (Tom Ellis) was in got cancelled for no good reason as well, and I thought it was entertaining. It's like they don't get the potential of this guy or something, and he's really good. He's charismatic and slightly twisted, making him fun to watch.

They probably had an internal disagreement over how good the show was. An early leak will often reveal if the user base is excited. In this case it appears to be. I liked the pilot.

Yep, it's a mystery how they managed to leak the pilot so early on.

Pilot was awesome. Already on my watchlist. :) Hopefully FOX's viewers won't turn out to be morons.

PS. Oh man, more 3 months of waiting until it starts? :(
