Man on Fire tells the story of John Creasy, a broken ex-mercenary on a mission to avenge the death of his only friend, while protecting his fallen comrade's daughter from the forces that destroyed her family.

If I had to compare it to something similiar (besides the movie obv.) it would be Marvels: The Punisher Season 2 which has a similar story at it's core.
Could've done with a little bit more action scenes. The team-dynamic also wasn't my favorite - would've prefered more a one-many-army kinda thing.

Wow, finally a remake that's worth the effort. I like the deep dive into Creasy's past and his resulting current mental problems. The action scenes are excellent as is the acting. The Creasy character is nothing like the movie version but it's got some depth that I appreciate. I'm looking forward to watching this one!

It's not bad at all, rambo kanye act is a bit funny, but Alice Braga is great as always. No modern audiences bs so far (ep 5).
Intro also is cool.

I loved the orig movie with Denzel. Please tell me this TV show isn't "re-imagined for a modern audience" because I'm really looking forward to it.

Always a bit skeptical, when it looks like it's supposed to be a 90min movie (and would've been in the 90s / 2000s) - but yeah, already on my Watchlist as well :)
