Matt Murdock, a Marvel Comics hero who's a lawyer by day but fights the bad guys at night to avenge the murder of his father, a boxer. But what sets Matt apart from most superheroes isn't his back story it's his handicap. Matt is blind, the result of a childhood accident that may have removed his ability to see but gifted him with heightened senses of touch, taste, hearing and smell.
“Also in contention is the age rating of the series; will the Disney+'s Daredevil show be R-rated? Charlie Cox revealed that he would back a PG-13 rendition of the Man Without Fear, so this in tandem with Marvel Studios pushing the limits of that rating in projects like Moon Knight and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness could mean that the MCU show will stay relatively family-friendly.”
Well this pissed me off…
On Disney+ there is also the Disney Star section with more R- Rated content, with alot of former Fox stuff on it, so they would have a place for it in case they decide for the more adult approach.

Realize that once Disney takes over, we can say goodbye to R rated fight scenes for all Marvel Shows.
Exactly!! This is precisely the reason why I have my fingers crossed that none of the Netflix Marvel shows go to Disney+. These shows are dark and gritty, and not exactly something that is in Disney's wheelhouse. However, with a 60% stake and counting in Hulu, I feel more optimistic that shows like Daredevil, Jessica Jones and The Punisher will thrive there instead. That's the only scenario that makes sense to me considering the circumstances, contractual obstacles, and the conflict between the two subsidiaries - Marvel Studios & Marvel Television. Those R-rated fight scenes are the bread and butter of Daredevil and are pretty much one of the many reasons why the show is the best in the biz among the MCU.
I would never waste a moment of my time (not in a million years) with a relaunched, recast, family-friendly version of any of those shows on Disney's streaming service. And I'm pretty sure just about everyone else that are fans of these shows feels the same.
Well said and totally agree!!

That's what i read aswell that after the Fox acquisition is complete, that most of the mature content will likely go to Hulu instead of Disney+. So i doubt that they would relaunch a family friendly version of the shows but rather keep them as they were, in case they should continue them.

I am so pissed off with this.
Daredevil S03 was probably the best season of any Marvel show ever aired on TV et al.

I guess we'll just have to wait and see. Fingers crossed...
Showrunner Erik Oleson told Entertainment Weekly: “I can tell you that I'm very hopeful to go do a season four.
“There has not yet been any kind of an official pick-up, but if there is, I'm very hopeful that I will be a part of it.”
Although there has been no announcement from Disney that they will air Daredevil season four, the cast and crew of Daredevil have been sharing their thoughts on what a fourth season would look like.
That said, there are still other possibilities - the most prominent being the possibility that Hulu will pick up future seasons with Marvel Television. Disney is known to be planning an international rollout of Hulu once their acquisition of Fox is complete, and their plan is reportedly to move all mature content there. That would surely be a more appropriate place for the various Defenders franchises.
Daredevil season 4 seemingly confirmed.
