Mickey Mouse Works recreates the golden age of Disney's animated shorts. The show features popular Disney characters and uses basic colors and original sound effects.

Each episode consists of cartoons varying in length from 90 seconds to 12 minutes. The shorts fall into three types: brief gag cartoons, longer character-based cartoons, and more classically-based 'Mouse Tales'.
