Reporter Tim O'Hara finds a Martian whose ship has crashed on Earth. He takes the Martian to his rooming house to help him recuperate and befriends him.

The Martian looks human, speaks English, and is passed off as Tim's uncle. They have many adventures together in this classic sci-fi sitcom.
