New York City homicide detective John Amsterdam is cursed with immortality because he stopped the murder of a Native Indian girl in 1642 by stepping in front of a sword. Due to this act of kindness, the Indian girl rescued Amsterdam from the stab wound by making him immortal, but warns that it is a curse that will only be lifted when John meets his true love.
Yeah, I think that it was never going to picked/shown up by FOX, but due to the WGA strike FOX broadcasted it to bolster their schedule for the rest of the 07-08 season.
Least it had a better ending that Journeyman... We

I really think they're picking up. The school one was pretty bad, but the next one with the solider was really better. Dunno, Moonlight really rubbed me the wrong way. And this one I really, really like.

I havent quite made up my mind about this show yet. Will have to give it a few more episodes. Still, I wasnt exactly left 'woow' after the first three.
