Enhanced Status Filter
Our "Status" filter is now enhanced to include more fine-grained show statuses.
Before we only had "all", "active", "inactive", and these are updated options:
Active - all shows that are not known to be cancelled or ended
Running - shows with episodes in the last year and a half
In Development - shows with no episodes whatsoever
Upcoming - shows that have only future episodes known
In Hiatus - shows that have not aired episodes for more than an year and a half
Cancelled/Ended - shows that are known to be either cancelled or ended
Try it in our
and the top charts -
from my creators
Let me know what you think and how that works for you. All feedback is, as always, greatly appreciated!

That's excellent, thanks! Maybe you could now change the Watchlist on the left so it doesn't display any of the shows In Development or In Hiatus? That'd be great.

@ArniVidar: Maybe group them under
More (in development)

I was wondering when it's going to be possible to filter with Boolean or exclusive terms.
Like specifically to look at shows that are NOT cancelled.
Also it would be great to know if shows are cancelled or actually have a proper ending.
Maybe something for a future update?

I like it.

Gee, Yes. For that filter alone i would go premium, if i wouldnt be already. Thanks.

Maybe "Any Status" instead of "All Statuses"?
Opinions seem to differ on whether it should be "status", "statuses" or even "stati".

It can't always be A or B... some shows fizzle out with a planned ending that doesn't feel like a real or good/proper ending...

I am fascinated by the new feature and by the fact that my last comment here vanished over night. Stranger Things ... ;-)

@BadAss27 - hm, what was it?
Is it possible it never got posted or you sent it as PM instead of a comment here?

I like this! Thanks for adding it

This is a great start! Now we just need it applied out in the left side of the "Home"-page =)

You could split Cancelled and Ended so when we browse older shows we don't have to search if ended properly or halfway. Good progress anyway.

@nikitas7: I wrote something about that in "comment # 9", but does it even matter? I *never* decided not to watch a good show because it didn't get all the seasons the makers envisioned.

I have to agree with lighton. I just finished watching the second season of Krypton, even though I already knew it was cancelled. What a shame too, since I thought it was really starting to hit its stride. As long as there's a complete season to watch, it won't stop me from doing the same with another prematurely ended series that I find interesting.

I don't mind if a series is cancelled (let's face it, most series are cancelled, and I'm always years behind so most series are done when I start them!) except when they end in a cliffhanger. That's why I always try to find out whether the ending is of the John Doe variety or not, before watching a cancelled series :)
